Safe Arrival / Attendance

If your child will be late or absent, please send an email to srg-attendance@wrdsb.ca and include your student’s name, grade, class, your name, and the reason for the absence. It is not necessary to call or email your child’s teacher as they often do not listen to their messages until later in the day. Our office staff will phone your home if you do not let us know your child is absent.

 

Visitors and Volunteers

To maintain a safe and secure school, all doors to the school are locked at all times. To enter the school use the buzzers at the front door. Volunteers and visitors please report to the office whenever you come into the school. If you are volunteering or have a meeting in the school, you will be asked to sign in and out at the office, and be given a visitor’s bag to wear while in the school.

 

Supervision

Supervision is provided on the school yard for 15 minutes before and after school. For the safety of our students, please ensure that they do not arrive before 8:40 am or remain after 3:30 pm.
