Nutrition for Learning

Nutrition for Learning has been serving the Waterloo Region community since 1997, feeding over 12,500 students daily. Their mission is to support student learning and well-being by ensuring that every child has access to healthy snacks at school. The program is made available to all students and runs on charitable donations.

With the highest rates of food insecurity in our community’s history, Nutrition for Learning is more determined than ever to keep their trucks full and delivering fresh produce, proteins, and whole grain foods to 180 schools every single week. We are encouraging the Southridge community to consider making a donation in support of our program. If we received a $5 monthly donation from half of our parents and caregivers we would be able to raise $12000 for our school!

$80 (a meal out!) provides A DAY OF FOOD FOR ONE SCHOOL!

$40 (drive-thru for two!) provides over 35 LBS of apples!

$20/month (2 lattes and muffins!) provides over 200 meals a YEAR!
